Wynema "Terry" Armstrong's Obituary
Wynema Elizabeth Armstrong, most knew her as Terry, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on April 4, 2023 at her home. She was born on December 6, 1946 in Decatur, Texas. While Terry grew up in Texas, her father being a military man, provided her the opportunity to live in Germany. Terry owned a bar/restaurant in the DFW area in the early 1970’s before moving to Illinois in 1975. She moved back to Texas in 1988 and married the love of her life on July 14, 1990 in San Antonio. She retired as a crosswalk guard from Spring Branch ISD serving Meadow Wood and Spring Forest.
She is survived by her loving husband, Donald P. Armstrong; her 5 children, Gary and Sheri, Mary Ann and Jesse, Kim and Mike, Melinda and Paul and Paula and Ivan; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 in the historic St. Peter United Church Cemetery, 9022 Long Point, Houston, Texas 77055.
