Wendell Ray Edwards Jr's Obituary
Wendell Ray Edwards Jr. was born on November 17, 1948 to the late Wendell and Beatrice Edwards in Atlanta Georgia and moved to Aiken, South Carolina shortly after. After meeting the love of his life he moved to Houston, Texas. He passed away on September 17, 2021 in Houston.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years, Bonnie Edwards. His five children Wendell Ray Edwards and wife Donna, Kimberly Kay Martin, Jason Wayne Gonzales, Marlo Marie Gonzales and Warren Ray Edwards and wife Bonnie. His 8 grandchildren, Madelyn, Courtlyn, Hanna, Brooklyn, Cordell, Marlena, Jaylin Rai, Jayden and several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. His two sisters, Candice Olney and Trudy Duncan.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents Wendell and Beatrice Edwards, his brother John Alston Edwards and sister Patricia Ann Koon.
Ray was a successful businessman and owned and operated Big Man Diesel Repair for many years.
