Warren James "Jim" Armstrong's Obituary
Warren James Armstrong, (Jim), 79, of Houston, passed away on Tuesday April 11, 2018. Jim was born on November 23, 1938 in Houston, Texas. Jim was a caring and loving man who enjoyed the simple things in life like reading and writing poems. He has always been a fighter, from when he served in the Navy as a photographer, until his last days. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them grow. He is survived by his wife Geraldine Armstrong his sister Irene Andrea Raia; children, Cynthia Borgman and Carol Counce, grandchildren, Ron Strickland, Alyssa Castro, and Cristina and Blake Counce, plus many more nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his son, Steve Castro; sisters, Gloria Rose Payette and Esther Jacob Van Dusen. He was a strong faithful man who always cherished being with his family. Since he was young he had such a strong passion for literature and music. Jim had quite a colorful personality with his infamous sayings and expressions; he will be greatly missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
