Wanda Magdalene Kominczak's Obituary
Wanda Madgalene Kominczak died peacefully in Houston, Texas on July 22, 2015 at the age of 82.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Z.E. “Zeke” Kominczak, her daughter Diane and husband Tim Myers, her daughter Dara and husband David Zoretic, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, her brother John Bolcerek and her beloved dog Sugar. She was preceded in death by her father Leon Bolcerek, her mother Antonia Budnick and her brothers Steve, Willie, Edward, Billy and Paul Bolcerek.
Wanda was born on September 16, 1932 in Brenham, Texas. She met Zeke after she moved to Houston as a young woman and they were married in November of 1957. She tirelessly dedicated herself to being an excellent wife and mother and loved gardening and delighted in watching wild birds as they visited her backyard.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 9 AM at All Saints Catholic Church, 215 E. 10th St., Houston, TX 77008. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow there at 10 AM. Following the service, Wanda will be laid to rest at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 N. Freeway, Houston TX 77060. Flowers may be sent to Hardin Family Funeral Home, 9034 Long Point Rd., Houston, TX 77055. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to make a donation in Wanda’s honor, please do so to The American Heart Association.
