Thomas Lee Hudson's Obituary
Thomas Lee Hudson II, 55, of Spring, Texas passed away on January 8, 2025, from a sudden illness. Tom was born on November 2, 1969, in Martinez, California. Tom moved to San Angelo, Texas, where he graduated from Lake View High School in 1988, and went on to obtain his associate’s degree in nursing. He later moved to Houston, Texas, where he began working as an apprentice for an electrical engineer at
Automatic Power.
In 1994, he met the love of his life, best friend, and the sweet to his sour, Sarah, while helping to complete a project at Weston Shipping. In 1995, he began working for Weston Shipping full-time and remained until the company sold in 2014. Tom’s career continued at ABLE Machinery movers and finished at Jet Set Co.
Tom and Sarah were married on November 14, 1998, and are the proud parents of three children: Matthew, Chase, and Payton.
Tom was deeply committed to his wife, children, sobriety, the Houston Astros, and his career…in that order. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, camping, golfing, 4- wheeling, dirt-track car-racing, watching NASCAR, and spending summers in Maine. He shared his love of tinkering with trucks, 4-wheeling, the Houston Texans, and go-karts with his son, Matthew; baseball, the Houston Astros, and Monster Jam with his son Chase; and, saddle bred show horses, music, and the rodeo with his daughter, Payton. Sundays were most special for Tom, with mornings being reserved for breakfast with Sarah at their secret location that was only for them to share and ending with Sunday family dinner. He was a beloved husband, father, best friend, and protector, and always offered a balanced perspective. He was larger than life, loving, reliable, dependable, and gave the best bear hugs. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
Tom is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sarah, his children, Matthew, Chase, and Payton, his Mother-in-law, Cynthia Courtemanche, the “First Family” (they know who they are), and several other family members and friends he loved throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his Father-in-law and best friend, Michael Courtemanche, and (his 4th child), Cameron Scott Fore.
Services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Memorial Baptist Church of Spring, Texas, with visitation occurring from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. and a subsequent service at 1:00 p.m. Graveside service to immediately follow at Tranquility Oaks Cemetery of Spring, Texas.
