Steven Paul Norcross' Obituary
Steven Paul Norcross, 51, of Dayton passed away on Saturday May 19, 2018 in Houston. Steven was born on July 20, 1966 to parents Frank and Carolyn Norcross. He attended Dayton ISD and performed in the Dayton High School Band playing saxophone. This began his love affair with music. He was able to teach himself to play almost any instrument and loved country music the best. Steven was a welder by trade working with the railroad for many years. Steven was a Member of Trinity Baptist Church in Dayton and was a proud member of the Dayton Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed both fishing and hunting. He is preceded in death by his son, Steven Paul Norcross, Jr. Steven is survived by his parents, Frank and Carolyn Norcross; son, Shane Norcross and daughter, Stacey White and her husband Derek. He is also survived by his very close cousin, Michelle Strauss and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Steven’s life will be held from 5 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday May 29, 2018. The service will be held at Grace Community Baptist Church in Dayton with the Rev. Wayne Hardin officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hardin Family Funeral Home in Houston.
