Sebastian Davis' Obituary
Sebastian Davis – November 24, 2007 - January 22, 2026
When you think of Sebastian, you likely think of the deep dark brown eyes brimming with mischievousness and warmth, or perhaps the infectious smile that was bright and loving, one that lit up the room. If you happen to be equally tall in stature, you might have had a glimpse of his big mop of curls that he was so proud of. But even if you weren’t so tall, you couldn’t miss him constantly twirling them with his finger. You
probably can recall his deep voice calling you ‘bro’ and sharing stories accompanied by his infectious laugh and quick wit. He was a big goof that brought cheer and a smile, as well as a small teasing and a chuckle. He had a smile that warmed your soul and a casual calm that made friendship flow.
Seba, Bubba, Bubby, Sebby, or Sebastian, whatever you knew him as, you knew he loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved sports. We always joked that his second word said as a baby was ‘Basketball’ and as a child he always had a basketball in his hands. He loved the outdoors and biking and hiking. So many fond memories of crossing logs, rope swings, and adventuring with his family and friends. He loved his job as a swimming coach and to hear him talk, he took pride in what he did, and he loved the little kids he trained. He loved going to the gym and working out and he cherished his time there with his friends. He loved to wear his workout tank tops everywhere and Susan will always remember him saying ‘Mom, why you hating on my wife beater’s. He loved his motorcycle and it was his passion. He always had an enthusiastic story to tell with vroom vroom sound effects. Some of his most cherished times and memories were hitting the curves with his dad for hours every Sunday after church. Oh, and not to mention that boy could eat, in the house food was rarely wasted and he could clear steak, sushi and cuties by the pounds.
Most importantly, he felt loved by his family, friends, and the amazing people in his church, schools and community who impacted him in his life. Sebastian was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and he had a love and faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ; it was integrated into all parts of his life. He was in the process of preparing to serve as a missionary after graduation but his time, place and manner of serving, came sooner than any of us expected. You will be missed, but we look forward to seeing you again when you welcome us back to our heavenly home.
