I learned so much working with her at Allen Samuels. She was an amazing woman, and I will miss talking to her. She is the only person that I have never won an argument against 😊.

Such a beautiful obituary which could not have been more true! She was so loved! When I became pregnant right after Ashley I remember asking her if she would be interested in taking care of 2 babies. Sally graciously helped me raise my baby during the week! When Ashley became pregnant with Garret Sally told me to hurry up and get pregnant so we could keep the 4 month gap going! I told her absolutely not and 4 months later I was pregnant with my youngest son Reid like she knew I would be. Sally continued to raise my babies while I worked full time and loved them like her own grandchildren! She took them on field trips more than Ashley or I would have loving every minute of it. She became their grandmomma. I could not have asked for a better person to take care of my babies. When Rylan and Peyton were close to 3 she decided they needed a Mother’s Day out program and promptly enrolled them and took them daily while she continued to dote on the younger 2. As they grew up she continued to pick my boys up along with her grandchildren teaching them how to be good young men along the way. I will forever be grateful for everything she did for my family! Love you forever! I will continue to pray for the family and all of those who lost her. I pray we all find peace in her passing as she was most certainly one of a kind and we were all blessed having known her.
My dear precious friend of 39 years was more than just a friend we were family. My husband was her husband when the honey-do list came into question. He was more apt to do it for her, Sally was so precious to him as well. We had an ice storm much like we just experienced in Tennessee in 1994, back then we lost power and trees were snapping like crazy. Sally called to check on how we were doing and I said fine just sitting here drinking coffee. In her boisterous voice she hollered how are you drinking coffee when we have no power. Fortunately we had a gas stove so I just poured boiling water through my Bunn coffee maker, she hollered I’m on my way. Few minutes later she’s at my door with Ashley in tow I her robe and fuzzy slippers to get her coffee. Sally and Ashley basically moved in with us because we had that gas stove, it was crazy but we had a good time trying to keep the kids entertained. I will miss my dear friend but my love will never die. Our friendship was so special, we may have lived far away from each other but we could pick up on the same conversation we were having the last time we saw each other. Rest In Peace my friend.
You may not have been my sister by blood but you will forever be “my sister” Thank you for all the many years of fun and love and know that I will miss you deeply! You were an amazing lady and we will always keep your light alive! Much love Miss Sally
