Ronald Shields Sr.'s Obituary
Ronald K Shields Sr. Also known as (Ronnie) gained his heavenly wings on October 17th, 2022. Ronnie was born in Hartsville, Ohio on May 8th, 1943.
During his life he was employed by several places and enjoyed working. Ronnie loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed sports especially the Houston Astros and Ohio State Buckeye football. He resided in Lufkin with his son Keith for many years.
Ronnie had a great personality and enjoyed conversing and helping people out when he could. Ronnie is proceeded in death by his sister Jean Severt, his brother Deawayne Shields, his mother Edith Kasier shields. Ronnie is survived by his son Keith Shields Jr. and his stepchildren which he called his own Lisa Rodgers, Richie Rodgers and Tony New. He is also survived by his nieces Beth Zein and Amy Severt Mancini.
Services for Ronnie will be Thursday October 27th, 2022. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at Rasberry Family Funeral Home 9034 Longpoint Rd. Houston, TX, 77055
He will be laid to rest at Carmen Nelson Bostick Cemetery at 2:00pm
Pastor Rick Rodgers will be officiating the service.
