Robert (Rob) Wendell Canter Jr.

Rob Canter, age 54 of Wilis Texas, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Conroe Regional Medical Center with his wife Deborrah at his side.
Rob was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was an animal lover and smothered his pups with endless love and affection. While Rob had no children of his own, he quickly became a loving father and grandfather to Deborrah’s children and grandchildren. Rob was quick witted and never passed up an opportunity to crack a joke or reply with a witty comment.
Rob is preceded in death by his father Robert Canter, his mother Linda Young , his sister Heather Peters, his grandparents Wendell and Thelma Canter and Mary Young.
Rob is survived by his wife Deborrah of 16 years, children Sammantha Stanley (husband William) and Stephen Titter. Grandchildren Aiden, William and Kimber. Sisters Mindy Murray (husband Jeff), Rebecca Parrish (husband Mike) and Amy Letterman (husband Danny). Special nieces Erin and Grace, as well as many other nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Melissa Riley, Michael Charrier and Shirley Moon for their support during this difficult time.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Rasberry Funeral Home of Conroe Texas is assisting the family.
