Richard Dale Graziani's Obituary
Richard Dale “Rich” Graziani, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 14,2023, after battling health issues for the last several years.
Rich was born on January 17, 1961 in Braddock, Pennsylvania. he was adopted by Alfred Graziani and Leona McDonough Graziani.
Rich was a graduate of North Hills High School in 1978. He also graduated the same year from A.W. Beattie Technical School in Pittsburgh, PA., in Graphic Arts.
Rich enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on June 21, 1978. He spent time in many areas, including Okinawa, Japan. Following a major service related injury, he was flown back to Bethesda, Maryland. He spent a year there for rehabilitation and then was honorable discharged from the United States Marine Corps on June 19, 1981.
Rich received his Associates Degree in Computer Science. He worked in large hospital systems and held administrative positions in network engineering and telecommunications.
Rich enjoyed woodworking as a hobby, RC cars and planes with his sons and spent time outside with his daughters as they worked with their show dogs. He loved all the family pets as well as all animals. Mostly Rich enjoyed spending time with his family more than anything. He was a great dad, and loved his children unconditionally. He had a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor. He was always laughing and making jokes with his family and friends.
Rich was proceeded in death by his parents , Alfred Graziani and Leona McDonough Graziani and a brother Barry Leicht.
Rich is survived by his former wife and caregiver, Lori McGinnis; his four children, Sadye (Dustin) Gibbs, Liza, Jack and Louis Graziani; brothers, Ronald Leicht, Thomas Leicht, Robert Leicht and Russell Youngblood.
