Orie’s Life...
We are sad to announce the passing of Orie Jon
“O.J.” Grice of Houston, Texas. He passed away on
August 21, 2022, at the age of 74, surrounded by family in
his hometown of Houston, Texas. O.J. was a loving father,
grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He
is preceded in death by his mother Mary Grice, his father
George Grice, and his wife Linda Grice. He leaves behind
his daughter Jennifer Carpenter and husband Bryan,
brother Patrick Grice and wife Donna, nieces Sarah Grice
and Shelley Smith, grandchildren Ashley Neelley, Brianna
Clayton, Hailey Clayton, David Clayton, Corbyn Carpenter,
Emilee Carpenter, great grandchildren Liam Neelley, Mia
Neelley, and Noah Neelley, as well as numerous family and
friends that will greatly miss him.
O.J. will be honored with a visitation for family and friends
on September 2, 2022, from 10am-12pm at Rasberry
Family Funeral Home located at 9034 Long Point Road
in Houston. A military burial will follow at 1:00pm at the
Houston National Veterans Cemetery.
