Ora Elizabeth "Liz" Johnson's Obituary
Ora Elizabeth "Liz" Oswalt Johnson, 71 of Batson passed away on Saturday May 13, 2017surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 28, 1946 in Greenville, Mississippi to parents, Ules S. Oswalt and Clara Bell Westbrook Oswalt. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ules S. Oswalt and Clara Bell Westbrook Oswalt; one sister and three brothers and her husband of 52 years, the love of her life, Raymond T. Johnson. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Patton and husband Joe, Jeanell Spivey and husband Stacey and Janet Brown and husband Randy; grandchildren, Joe Patton, Jr., Rebecca Patton, Ray Vestal, III., Cullen Brown, Ethan Brown, Bradley Brown; Great-grandchildren, Jayden Vestal, Bodhi Vestal, Alyscia Patton, Alaynah Patton and Allyson Patton. Liz is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 16, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Bible Way Pentecostal Church in Liberty. A Celebration service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday May 16, 2017 at Bible Way Pentecostal Church in Liberty with the Rev. Frank Aragon and Rev. Adolph Johnson officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband Raymond in Hillside Cemetery immediately following services.
