Nuel Douglas Windrow's Obituary
Nuel passed away in the early morning hours on Saturday, April 2, 2016, after a brief but debilitating illness. He was 69 years old. Nuel was born on March 3, 1947 in Galveston, Texas - the first child of Dr. Nuel Carson Windrow, Jr. and Eddelweese H. Windrow. He is survived by his sister, Isla Windrow Backus, and her children and grandchildren, as well as two cousins - Tom and Tim Herring of San Antonio, Texas. He was deeply loved, and will be sorely missed. Interment will be at Memorial Oaks Cemetery on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at one o'clock in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Brookwood Community at brookwoodcommunity.org.
