Nicholas "Nick" Jacob Spurdis Harris' Obituary
Nicholas "Nick" Jacob Spurdis Harris, III, born August 7, 1951, in Beaumont, Texas, was called home to Christ on March 25, 2014, in Houston. He is preceded in death by his father, Nicholas Jacob Spurdis, Jr.; stepfather, Robert Earl Harris, Sr.; and brothers Michael and James "Jim" Harris. He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife of 32 years, Betty; daughter, Natalie; son, Joshua; son, Nicholas and his wife, Kassandra; grandson, Colson; mother, Jerry Keene; brothers Richard and Robert Harris; sister, Donna Graham and a host of family and friends.
A celebration of his life and reception will be held April 5, 2014, at 11 a.m. at 22521 Bay Point Drive, Galveston, Texas 77554.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks with gratitude that a donation be made to the American Stroke Association, as his wife is a two-time stroke survivor.
