Millie actively participated in various organizations, including the Wisconsin Electric EMBA Auxiliary, St. Edward's Women's Club, Catholic Junior League, and Ladies Schafskopf Club. She loved playing bridge with her friends and had a passion for flower gardening and crocheting. After Harry's retirement, they traveled the United States in their travel trailer, spending winters in Florida, Texas, and Arizona to be with family and friends. In 2005, they relocated to Kingwood, Texas, to be closer to their daughter, Nancy, and her family. Millie resided at Landon Ridge Assisted Living since 2021, where she peacefully passed away after a brief illness.
