Mildred Marie Reece (Millie), age 72, of Pasadena, TX went to be with Lord on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
She was born in Houston, Texas on October 25, 1953, to Henry Kominczak and Mary Jankowiak Kominczak . She was married to John Reece, Jr (Buddy) for 49 years before his passing in 2024. Mildred (Millie) worked over 35 years and retired from The City of Houston. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She attended and graduated Jefferson Davis High School. She loved spending time with her grandkids, daughter, and family.
She is proceeded in death by her mother Mary Kominczak, father Henry Kominczak and sister Betty Kominczak.
She is survived by her daughter; Melanie Reece-Hodge and husband Anthony Hodge; Granddaughters; Kayla Hodge and Danielle Hodge, Grandson; Anthony Hodge, Jr (Calvin), Sisters; Margaret Fann and Dorothy Cendalski, in laws Avis Hightower and husband Chuck Hightower and Sandra Everett and husband Jay Everett, Tammy Reece, and numerous nieces and nephews. She had some great neighbors who were always ready to lend a helping hand for her and her late husband, which is greatly appreciated.
