Margaret Jane Adams' Obituary
Margaret Jane (Billingley) Adams was born in Weimer, TX to parents Jessie Lee Gillespie and Sir Lester Roy on June 18th, 1940. She went to Karl Down Public High School, were she met and married Sammie Joe Parks Sr. and was married for 67 years.
Margaret was a lifetime member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she served since 1964. She was a dedicated work for Methodist Hospital for numerous years until she retired. Margaret was a very loving and naturing person that did not meet a stranger. She will be missed by all the wisdom that she would give with a stern but gentle touch.
Margaret is proceeded in death by her husband Sammie Joe Adams Sr., parents Jessie Lee Gillespie and Sir Lester Roy. and aunt Lois B. Miller. She leaves one daughter Marilyn (Charles) Bush, 4 sons Sammie Joe (Shelia) Adams Jr., Tony Ray Adams (Julie-deceased), Ronald Dewayne (Dorene) Adams, and Shannon Jay ( Michelle) Adams. twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
