Makaylla Moraczewski's Obituary
With profound sorrow and broken hearts, we announce that Makaylla "Mikie” Addyson Moraczewski went home to be with the Lord on July 6, 2025, just shy of her 19th birthday. Though her time on earth was far too brief, her impact was immeasurable — a legacy of creativity, kindness, empathy and quiet strength that will remain with us forever.
Mikie was born on July 19, 2006, in The Woodlands, TX, to Kendra and Raphael Moraczewski.
She was a bright and joyful soul who brought light to every life she touched. Mikie had a kindness and generosity beyond her years, always willing to help anyone in need — family, friends, or strangers. Her empathy knew no bounds, and she was always there for those around her with a listening ear, a helping hand, or a comforting word.
Mikie attended Klein High School - homeschooled and graduated early at the age of 16 in 2022. At the time of her passing, she was enrolled at Lone Star College, working toward her Associate of Arts degree in Psychology. While pursuing her studies, Mikie also worked at Chill Brothers, and previously held positions at Planet Ford and Best Buy. At Best Buy, she excelled as a Shift Lead and Apple Certified Advisor, becoming the top district performer in all-around sales for seven consecutive months — an achievement that speaks volumes of her determination, work ethic, and people skills.
She was passionate about Anime and Comic Cons — especially anything related to Ogai Mori. She was a force of creativity always expressing herself through various forms of art. Whether she was painting, crocheting, writing poetry, or making bracelets, she was always creating something beautiful and meaningful. She enjoyed all types of music and learned to play the piano and flute.
From a young age, Mikie was active and adventurous. She enjoyed volleyball, soccer, archery, swimming, and dance, and she achieved her Blue Belt in Taekwondo in just thirteen months. Always giving of herself, she volunteered with The Lions Club International, Boulder Junction Public Library, and the local food pantry.
Mikie is survived by her loving mother, Kendra Moraczewski; her father, Raphael Moraczewski; her half-sister, Monique Moraczewski Molina; and her grandmother, Karen Reese. She is also deeply missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins. Her best friends, Francis Hutton, Maddison Ellis, & Colton Reese who cherished her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather’s Robert Moraczewski Murray & Kenneth Reese. And grandmother Katherine Moraczewski.
Mikie lived with a fearless heart and a generous spirit, a curious mind, and a vibrant soul. She was, and will always be, deeply loved and fiercely missed.
