Lottie Stephens' Obituary
Lottie Stephens, 92, of Galena Park, Texas went home to be with Jesus on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 3:15 a.m.
Lottie was born in Paris, Texas on December 18, 1931. A proud graduate of Galena Park High School, she worked at Diamond Shamrock in Spring Branch and GATX Rail in Galena Park for several years as an administrative professional before earning her real estate license.
Lottie’s passion in life was real estate. In her career of over 50 years, she loved sales, and she loved her clients dearly—many of whom became life-long friends. Although a dedicated professional, Lottie always made time for her family and was fiercely loyal and devoted to her loved ones. She was also a cheerful giver, helping those in need however she could.
Lottie was a committed follower of Jesus Christ. She attended Forest Oaks Baptist Church and later became a member of The River Church.
Lottie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Rick and Debbie Hiller; son Reggie Hiller; daughter and son-in-law Shawn and Greg Buchanan; eight grandchildren—Shane Granger, Shana Hiller, Ricky Hiller, Josh Hiller, Zac Hiller, Jeremy Hiller, Rory Buchanan, and McKenzie Buchanan; and eight great-grandchildren.
Among her ten siblings, all of whom preceded her in death, Lottie was the second youngest of her six sisters and four brothers. She was eager to see in Heaven her mother, Lilly Nation, a very devout woman of prayer, along with her father, Richard Columbus Nation.
A celebration of life service will be held at The River Church, located at 970 Dell Dale St, Channelview, TX 77530, on Saturday, August 17, 2024. The burial will take place at Grand View Funeral Home and Memorial Park, located at 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505, on Monday, August 19, 2024.
