Kenneth Troy Moran's Obituary
Kenneth “Troy” Moran was born to Ronald H. and Mary Ann Moran in Houston on October 9, 1965. He was the second of two children. Moran attended school at Nimitz High School. Twenty years of his professional life, Moran spent as a project manager at C.A.I.R.S. He married his sweetheart Carol Renee (nee Petty) Moran in 1986. They welcomed their first son Curtis Lane Moran in 1990 and their second Corey Blaine Moran in 1993. He had no grandchildren.
Moran was always a family man, immersing in activities that included the whole family. His parents were always involved in the activities that Moran planned, from Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years as well as Easter. Moran communicated with his parents on an almost daily basis.
Moran was always the life of the party. To those who were troubled, he was a good listener. Moran was a bright light to any dim day. He was a great friend. Moran loved the outdoors, boating with his sons, music, friends, pets and his family.
Moran’s light went dark on December 1, 2016. He was 51. Troy’s family will receive friends on Saturday December 10, 2016 from 11 o’clock in the morning until service time at 12 o’clock noon at Hardin Family Funeral Home in Houston. Everyone is invited to a reception following services.
