Joseph Daniel Weber's Obituary
Joseph Daniel “JD” Weber, 73, passed to eternal rest at his home in Spring, Texas on June 3, 2025. JD was born November 9, 1951 in Houston, the fourth of fifteen children of Harry and Patricia (Talley) Weber. He graduated from Mount Carmel Catholic High School in 1970. In 1975, JD married the love of his life, Vicky (Hollek) and they shared 50 wonderful years together. JD was employed by Southwestern Bell/AT&T for 39 years. He cherished every family gathering and the moments spent together, enjoyed country music, and was a devoted fan of the Texas Aggies. JD always had a sparkle in his eyes and a happy grin on his face.
JD is survived by his devoted wife, Vicky and siblings; Cynthia Lawson, Diane (Murry) Yates, Luke (Petra) Weber, Cecelia (Gary) Maynor, Patty Bing, Robert Weber, John (Mary) Weber, Beth (Dave) Johnson, Margaret (Mark) East, Jacqueline (Kevin) Lanier, Patrick (Katrina) Weber; mother-in-law, Joyce Hollek; brothers-in-law, Darrell Hollek (Therese), Russell Hollek (Michele), Tim Hollek (Tricia), David Hollek (Karen); sisters-in-law, Patricia Atkins (Donnie), Suzanne Bagley (Randy) and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, JD is preceded in death by his siblings; Steven Weber, Lucian Weber and Mary Weber Poarch; brother-in-law Bob Poarch; and father-in-law Eugene Hollek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tues, June, 10th at 11:00 am at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, TX with a lunch reception immediately following in the McGivney Hall. Everyone is welcome to share in the Rosary service beginning at 10:30 prior to the Mass. Due to the excessive heat, no coat or tie is necessary. We encourage people to wear blue as it was always JD’s favorite color. The graveside service will be private.
