John Marvin Reece, Jr. (Buddy), age 71, of Pasadena, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 1, 2024. He was born in Houston, Texas on February 13, 1952, to John Reece, Sr and Alice Sartor Reece. He was married to Mildred Kominczak Reece (Millie) for 49 years. John (Buddy) was a Facilities Manager at ABM where he retired. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He attended Sam Houston High School. He loved spending time with his grandkids, daughter, BBQing, watching the Astros, Texans, NASCAR and being around friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his mother Alice Reece, father John Reece Sr., and brother Roy Reece.
He is survived by his Wife; Mildred Kominczak, Daughter; Melanie Reece-Hodge and husband Anthony Hodge, Granddaughters; Kayla Hodge and Danielle Hodge, Grandson; Anthony Hodge Jr (Calvin), Sisters; Avis Hightower and husband Paul Hightower, Sandy Reece Everett and husband Jay, sister-in-law Tammy Conover Reece, sister-in-law Margaret Fann, Dorothy Cendalski, and numerous nieces and nephews, and friends. He had some great neighbors who were always ready to lend a helping hand for him and Millie, which is greatly appreciated.
