John Thomas Barremore's Obituary
John "Bub" Thomas Barremore, 61 of Houston, TX passed away August 10, 2014 at home in Houston. John was born in Houston, TX on July 1, 1953 to Mildred Lynn Christian Barremore and the late Theo Calvin Barremore, Jr. Bub grew up in Leona, TX and was raised by his beloved grandparents "Papaw", George Christian and "Mamaw", Lillian May Christian. He is survived by his mother, Mildred Lynn Barremore; his sister, May Lynn Barremore-McMindes; and nephew, Jake Ryan McMindes; and many cousins, Dee Ashmore, John Knox, Gene Knox, Evalyn Phillips, and Cheryl Phillips.
He was self taught in almost everything he did and had the entrepreneurial spirit. He worked as a photographer and film developer. He owned and operated, The White Kitchen restaurant in Madisonville, Tx. He started his own landscape and irrigation company, The Leaky Pipe. Lastly, he taught himself how to design websites and became an expert in search engine optimization (SEO). He built a very successful business called The Visible Dentist which specialized in designing websites for dentists across the United States.
He enjoyed hunting in his younger years but grew to love and respect all life. He was very knowledgeable and knew almost every animal and every bird and birdcall. Bub was an avid reader and very knowledgable on many different subjects. He will be remembered always for his sense of humor, his generosity, and love. We miss you, Bub! You will live in our hearts forever!
John's family will gather for graveside services on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 11:30 in the morning at North Mount Tabor Cemetery in Madisonville, Texas.
