Jacqueline Kimberly Leavell's Obituary
Jacqueline Kimberly "Jacie" (Turner) Leavell, 62, of Mansfield, TX passed away peacefully on
Tuesday, January 21, 2025 in Porter, TX. She was surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Jacie was born April 21, 1962 in Lawton, OK. She attended schools in White Settlement, TX, graduating in 1980 from Brewer High School and thereafter attending college at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, TX. Jacie held countless positions at many organizations, most notably the Boys and Girls club of Fort Worth and as a real estate agent at Keller Williams. She was preceded in death by her father Allen Gordon Sparks of Rockford, Illinois and her mother Karen Beth "Coco" Williams Turner of Oklahoma City, OK; her uncles Gary Earl Williams and Donald Gail Williams; her adopted-father Wayne Dale Turner.
Survivors include her children Jessica White (Steve) of Burleson, TX, Mark "Micke" White
(Samantha) of Burleson, TX, Whitney Parbs (Tom) of Mansfield, TX, and Joseph Leavell (Grace) of Porter, TX; her grandchildren Jenna Walker, Rendon White, Tyler Horner, Madison Horner, Trooper Oats, and Andi Williams.
Early in life, she was a beloved member of the Brewer High School Honeycomb drill team, where she was a captain. Throughout her life, she enjoyed taking the occasional trips to the beach. Two of Jacie's fondest memories include traveling to the Alamo, and her beach trip to Gulf Shores. It brought her joy when her family gathered for birthdays and holidays. In her free time, Jacie was an avid TV-watcher, having enjoyed shows such as General Hospital, Lost, and Big Brother. One of Jacie's proud accomplishments was the creation of Lucid Dreams, a Minecraft server geared towards kids that she dedicated her heart to. Jacie was a passionate gamer, having spent numerous hours completing various games. Jacie found much delight in spending quality time with her grandchildren from park visits, to sleepovers. After her diagnosis,
Jacie spent her last 10 months enjoying the small things in life along with her children. Jacie was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed by all those who loved and cherished her. “If flowers grow in heaven, Lord, then pick a bunch for me. Then place them in my mother’s arms and tell her they’re from me. Graveside service for Jacie will be held on Saturday February 8, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Arlington, TX. The memorial reception will be held from 2-4 p.m. at Cha Cha's Mexican Restaurant in Arlington, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a kind donation to a charity of your choice.
