Harry Milton Easley Jr.'s Obituary
Harry Milton Easley, Jr., age 71, was born on July 22, 1952 in Port Gibson, Mississippi to Harry Milton Easley, Sr. and Joyce Perkins Easley. He fought hard to stay, but left this earth on April 4, 2024, surrounded by love and family as he made his journey to be with Our Lord and Savior.
He was a beloved Husband, Daddy, PawPaw, Son, and friend. After many years of illness, he is now healed. Harry will truly be missed by all that loved him.
He grew up in Jackson, MS and graduated from Callaway High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps from July 1971 to July 1973 and was active duty during the Vietnam War. Once honorably discharged from the Marines, he received his pilot’s license and continued his education to earn his commercial agricultural pilot’s license. He provided for his family by working for various ag aviation companies until he had an engine failure and crashed in 2009. He was an accomplished pilot and loved flying.
In 1975, he met Carolyn Mashburn, the love of his life. As their love grew, they married in Houston, TX on May 23, 1981. Their marriage was blessed by their two daughters, Simeon in 1981 and Amber in 1995. After moving to various places, they placed their family roots in Katy in 1988.
Harry loved to garden. For many years, he grew a vast garden of an assortment of fruits and vegetables. He enjoyed giving much of what he reaped to others. Harry never met a stranger and he enjoyed spending quality time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by wife of 42 years, Carolyn Mashburn Easley; daughter, Simeon Easley Ustruck and husband Chris; daughter, Amber Audrey Easley; grandchildren, Zachary Wayne Crowell, Naasson Ray Crowell, Logan Alexander Ustruck, Madeleine Grace Ustruck, Brandt Milton Crowell, Abigail Claire Ustruck, Rhett Thomas Ustruck, William (Will) Harry Ustruck and Kinsley Josephine Ustruck; great grandchildren, Asher Wayne Crowell and Toby Jackson Crowell; parents, Joyce Perkins Easley and Harry Milton Easley Sr.; and siblings, Charles Edgar Easley (Tricia) and Debbie Easley Lee (Larry).
