Harold Gordon Binford's Obituary
Harold Gordon Binford, 85 of Houston, passed away on May 28, 2016 at his home in Houston. He was born on April 25, 1931 in Navasota, Texas to parents, Kenneth Alvin Binford and Lessie Lee Cunningham. Harold was a 1948 graduate of Sam Houston High School in Houston and attended Houston Community College and the University of Houston. Harold proudly served his country for 32 years as a member of the United States Air Force, rising to the rank of Senior Master Sergeant at his retirement. He was active in the Korean War, Vietnam and both Desert Storm and Desert Shield. After retiring, Harold often tutored students in math and also taught math in the Houston Community College system. He is survived by his sister, Corine Licht and brother, Kenneth Binford and his wife Leola and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends
Burial with United States Air Force Military Honors will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 12:45 pm at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston.
