Gwen Ellen Stewart's Obituary
Gwen Ellen Stewart, 62, of Huffman, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015 in Humble, Texas. She was born on November 18, 1952 in Orange, Texas to parents, Howard Bryan Holden and Alberta Mary Barney Holden. Gwen was a very talented and gifted quilter for many years and has made and given away many of her best quilts to dear family members and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Raye Ellen Stewart and her husband, Gerald Lee Stewart. Gwen is preceded in death by Howard Bryan Holden, Alberta Mary Holden and Howard Van Holden. A Gathering of her Family and Friends was held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Gwen's home on the back deck that she enjoyed so much. There they remembered and shared the many heartwarming memories and funny stories from her life. At her request, Gwen will be cremated.
