Gwen Yvette DeJohn's Obituary
Gwen Yvette DeJohn, 54of Texas City passed away on December 9, 2017. She was born on May 30, 1963 in Fort Worth, Texas to parents, Doyle Gene LaGow and Delores Jean Jones LaGow. Gwen had lots of friends in Texas City where she lived and had friends spread from San Leon and all over Houston. She lived a full rich life and loved her church. Gwen had a wonderful personality and loved talking and laughing with people and being out with them. She lived life to the fullest enjoying swimming, dancing in her wheelchair and even went on a cruise even though most of her life she lived in terrible pain. Gwen was not one to be slowed down. She will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is now with her sweet Jesus and is walking, running and jumping with joy. She was preceded in death by father, Doyle Gene LaGow and grandparents, James W. and Ethel Jones and Homer and Donnie LaGow. She is survived by her daughter, Brandi Jene LaGow; grandson, Michael Gene LaGow; mother, Delores Jean Osborne; sister, Karen J. Alexander and husband James; brother, Mark W. LaGow; aunts, Bobbie Watson, Clara Doyle and husband Wallace, Golda Whitworth, Linda LaGow, Beverly Gast and husband Doug, June E. Gebhart and her sons Russ, Robby and Robert; uncles, Larry E. Jones and wife Karen and Billy H. Day and wife Delores and well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
