Gesina Miller's Obituary
Gesina Miller, 33, of Houston, Texas, passed away on February 5, 2024.
She was born in Fort Carson, Colorado on November 20th, 1990, to Robert and Rita Miller, and grew up in Miller, Kansas. Gesina attended Northern Heights High School in Allen, Kansas. After graduating high school, she joined the United States Army, where she served six years as a helicopter mechanic. She was honorably discharged in 2016. She then settled down in Houston, Texas where she grew her family and career. Gesina was a real estate agent in the Houston area for many years. Her passions were her kids, family, and pets.
In 2015, Gesina met Jerrod Busbey in Fort Wainwright, Alaska, where they both served in the military. They went on to have one child, Beau. They separated in 2019 but remained great friends and co-parents.
Gesina gave birth to her second child Celeste, with Quentyne Norris in April 2023. Gesina was preceded in death by her mom, Rita Miller, and is survived by her children Beau Busbey and Celeste Miller; father Robert Miller; brothers Joe (Joni) Miller, Levi Miller; sister Vietta (TJ) Harold, nieces Sawyer and Lexi Miller, and nephew Reid Harold.
Memorial service for Gesina will be at a later date.
