Frances Waggoner's Obituary
Frances Waggoner, age 77, passed away on December 2, 2022. She was born on December 18, 1944 in South Houston, where she was raised with her brother and sister by their father. When she was 14, she went to live with her grandmother whom she adored. Frances met and fell in love with Donald Wade and they had two children. Later in life she married Don Waggoner and they spent 25 years together before his death in 2017.
She was a server most of her life and spent the last 16 years at Pappy’s Café, where she was adored. Frances loved all animals put especially cats. She has owned and loved many pets through her life. She loved Rotts and Oscar was her main squeeze.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Don Waggoner; sister, Bonnie Couch; brother, Charlie Gatling; father, Francis Morris; and her grandmother, Kitty Morris. She is survived by her children, Donald Wade Jr, Dawana Cooke and Frederick Cooke; grandson, David McKenzie Jr; great grandchildren, Kendrick McKenzie and Rosslyn McKenzie; and her brother, Johnny Morris.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 12 noon- 1pm and the service will be at 1 pm at Rasberry Family Funeral Home.
