Edward William Lyden's Obituary
Edward William Lyden passed away at the age of 65 on August 6, 2018. He will be greatly missed by his sisters Peggy Buckley of Potomac, MD and Clevelle Scherer of Henderson, NV and his brother David Lyden of Las Vegas, NV and his partner of 28 years Jeffrey Trentham of Katy, Tx. He also will be missed by his 11 nieces and nephews.
Ed got his BS degree from Boston College, his MLTS from Washington University and his MCPM from Columbia University. Ed worked for the Shell Oil Company for 24 years and after retiring he became manager of Library Services at Harris County Library in Katy, Tx for 14 years.
Ed was a highly motivated information management professional and very dedicated to all his fellow workers. He loved his jobs and his friends at work.
