EddieFloyd Dewayne Elkins' Obituary
EddieFloyd Dewayne Elkins was born on November 13, 1991 to Michael Elkins and Francis Cavanaugh Elkins in Phoenix, Arizona. The family has lived all across the country, Including Las Vegas, NV, Grayson, KY, Tomball and Houston, TX.
During Eddie’s short 27 years of life, he touched a countless number of people. Eddie had the ability to lighten up any situation with his presence and quirky smile. Whether he had words of advice or encouragement, or even to reprimand you if he felt you needed it. Eddie is what many consider to be an “Old Soul”, even though at times he would be a practical joker. If Eddie considered you a friend, you knew you had a friend for life. Eddie never met a stranger.
On January 13, 2019 God called Eddie home. Preceding him in death were Carolyn (Nana) and Clarence (Papaw) Columbus, Florence (Grandma) Cavanaugh, all grandparents.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, Carolyn Elkins (daughter),Stephanie Ramirez (fiancé), Francis Cavanaugh Elkins (mother), Michael Elkins (father), Rhiannon (sister) and Amanda Elkins (sister) and her fiancé Timothy Wimberly Robert Cavanaugh (grandpa) Timaiya and Timerah (nieces), Timothy Jr (nephew) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
The Elkins family would like to thank everyone for all your thoughts, prayers and kind words in our time of grief. Eddie’s memory will live on with each and every person who had the pleasure to know him.
