Dorothy Elizabeth McLane's Obituary
Dorothy "Dot" Nevils McLane, age 98, passed away gently on September 8, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on June 26, 1922 in Columbia, South Carolina to Lawson J. and Sarah Leola Erwin Nevils. Dot is survived by her son, Lawson McLane and wife Cui Ling, grandchildren Michael, Cecilia, Eddie, Michael, Chris, Darren, Angie, Dorothy, Charly, Matt; as well as many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Dot was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years Rev. James Edward McLane, sons Jimmy McLane and Charlie McLane, daughter Grace McLane, brother Leroy Nevils, sisters Mary Martin and Aubrey Thomas and grandson Matthew.
She will forever be in our hearts and we look forward to our heavenly reunion.
