Donnie J. Foreman Jr.'s Obituary
Brother Donnie Foreman Jr. was born to Deacon Donnie Foreman Sr. and Annie Mae King on August 10, 1952, at Rockford Memorial Hospital in Rockford, Il. He was the sixth of 13 children and was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Oper Purifoy and Cindy Williams and brother Ernest Foreman. Another brother Josh Foreman passed away shortly after Donnie’s death.
Donnie attended Harlem High School and graduated in 1970. Donnie was known for his sense of infectious laughter and humor. In high school his favorite pastimes were football, baseball, and basketball.
Donnie worked at LSI Silk Screen Printing in Houston, Texas, from 1985 until he retired in 2021 where he was well respected by his co-workers.
Donnie was born, raised and spent most of his life in the Israel of God’s Church. Two ministers in Israel, Reverend James Ewing and Reverend James Gillespie, were very influential in helping him to understand the importance of the church and the doctrine in his life.
