Donnie Lee Ellison Sr.'s Obituary
Donnie Lee Ellison, 65 of Dayton has gone home to be with the Lord. Donnie passed away on January 5, 2018 at home with his wife, Jaquitta as his side. He was born on February 18, 1952 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to parents, George Lee Ellison and Geneva Williams Ellison. Donnie is preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Williams Ellison and his granddaughter, Melissa Nicole Ellison. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jaquitta Ellison; sons, Michael Ellison and Donnie Lee “J. R.” Ellison, Jr. and wife Kristen; grandchildren, Elijah, Adam and Dylan; great-granddaughter, Melissa Grace Ellison; father, George Lee Ellison; sister, Glenda Ellison; brother, Dale Ellison and a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Donnie’s life will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 2 PM at Bible Way Pentecostal Church on Hwy. 146 in Liberty, Texas with Pastor Victor Persinger officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 1 PM at the church. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery adjacent to the church. Serving as pallbearers are, Caleb Christian, William Paul Persinger, Bruce Pepper, Juan Bonilla, Jr., Oscar Mbankulu, Donnie Lee Ellison, Jr., Josiah Persinger, Peter Kaltenberg and Dale Ellison.
