Domitila "Mami Gloria" Ramirez's Obituary
Mami Gloria was born in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico on February 28 1930. her parents were Maria Gutierrez and Manuel Olmedo. She was happily married to Jafet Ramirez for 34 years, the best years of her life. She is survived by her Children : Roberto Roa, Sara Carbajal, Alejandra Cantu and Victor Roa+ along with their spouses and God-children who also loved her and will greatly miss her. She had the blessing of having 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grand children and 1 great-great-grandchild whom she loved with all her heart and always wanted to give them the best of herself.
She also had the blessing to be called 'mother" by other people who were touched by her life. They were not "blood related" but "love-related" and will miss her deeply. Mami Gloria was a woman of courage, a woman of faith, a woman of strong character but a kind loving spirit. She had a spirit of service, love for others and a spirit of Joy. She touched so many lives along with her husband who was the "love of her life". She loved baking, she enjoyed entertaining guests and cooked delicious meals for everyone. She was a person who liked helping others, passionate about life and a woman who loved God. She trusted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and went to be with Him on September 8, 2014 at 4:45 am being 84 years old. She passed away peacefully knowing she was loved by everyone around her.
The family will gather on Wednesday September 10, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm for the viewing of their beloved Mami Gloria at Hardin Family Funeral from 4 pm to 8 pm.
The Funeral Service will be on Thursday September 11 2014 time: 11:30 am at Lazybrook Baptist Church located on 1822 W. 18 St. Houston Texas 77008 followed by the Interment at Hollywood Cemetery on Main St. and I-45. Lunch will be hosted by Lazybrook Baptist Church for family and friends after the burial. Thank You.

Mami Gloria nacio en Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico el 28 de Febrero de 1930. Sus padres fueron Manuel Olmedo y Maria Teresa Gutierrez. Estuvo felizmente casada con Jafet Ramirez por 34 anos con quien vivio los mejores anos de su vida. Sus hijos Roberto Roa, Sara Carbajal, Alejandra Cantu y Victor Roa+ con sus respectivos esposos(as) la extranaran grandemente.Ella tuvo la bendicion de tener 19 nietos, 36 bisnietos y 1 tataranieto ademas de ahijadas y personas que la apreciaron y que ella tambien amo con todo su corazon y siempre les dio lo mejor de si misma. Muchas personas fueron tocados por su vida y aunque no fueran parientes de sangre, eran familia en el corazon por amor.
Mami Gloria fue una mujer valiente,una mujer de fe, una mujer de caracter fuerte pero a la vez tenia un espiritu docil y amoroso.Tenia un espiritu servicial y un corazon lleno de alegria. Ella toco muchas vidas junto con su esposo Jafet, quien fue el amor de su vida. A ella le fascinaba hacer pasteles, galletas y cocinar para sus invitados sus platillos favoritos. Le encantaba dar, compartir, ayudar, era apasionada por la vida y por El que le dio la vida, Jesus.
Ella confio en el Senor como su Salvador Y fue a estar en su presencia el dia 8 de Septiembre de 2014 a las 4:45 am a sus 84 anos. Durmio en paz sabiendo que fue amada por todos los que la rodeaban.
la familia estara teniendo visitacion cuerpo presente el Miercoles 10 de Septiembre de las 4 pm a las 8 pm. Y celebraremos su vida en Jueves 11 de Septiembre 2014 a las 11:30 am en punto. En la Iglesia Bautista lazybrook ubicada en 1822 W. 18 st. Houston texas 77008. De alli partiremos para dar el ultimo adios en el "Hollywood Cementary" de Main St. y I-45 North.
La iglesia Lazybrook estara sirviendo una comida despues del cementerio en honor de Mami Gloria para la familia y amigos.
