Colleen O’Brian Long was born on March 1, 1961 in Jacinto City, Texas to William “Bill” and Lee O’Brian.
Colleen grew up and attended school and church in Channelview where she met her husband of 43 years
Phillip “Phil” Long married in Dec 1979 until her passing. She was a home mom who worked part time as
a cashier when she wanted and was bookkeeper of her husband’s company. She enjoyed spending time
with her daughters Kristen Long of Spring and Tara Rice of Katy and grandchildren. She also enjoyed
spending weekends in Port Lavaca with her husband and many friends…… Colleen is proceeded in
death by her father William “Bill” O’Brian… Colleen is survived by her mother Lee O’Brian Stapleton,
husband Phillip Long, daughter Kristen Long and son in law Erik Benitez, daughter and son in law Tara
Long Rice and Shannon Rice, granddaughter Bella Rice, granddaughter Cora Rice, grandson Connor
Rice, granddaughter Anna Rice and twins Sean and Dylan died at birth, Mother Lee O’Brian Stapleton,
stepfather Harold Stapleton, brother and wife Larry and Vada O’Brian, sister and husband Erin O’Brian
Medina and Ray Medina, brother and wife Gary and Martha O’Brian, and siblings Lucy Andrews and
Patrick O’Bryan along with many nieces, nephews, Cousins family and friends.
