Betty S Hitchcock, 80 of Houston, passed away on November 20, 2021 in Houston. She was born on February 3, 1941 to parents, Marvin H. Smith and Lena A. Hargraves Smith. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Chester O. Hitchcock; parents, Marvin H. Smith and Lena A. Hargraves Smith; son, Mark O. Hitchcock; brother, Henry L. Smith and granddaughter, April Ashworth. She is survived by her sons, Kenn Webster and wife Johnnie and Chester O. Hitchcock, II; daughter, Lisa Webster; step-sons, Raymond Hitchcock and Wesley Hitchcock; sisters, Nellie Lucille Johnson and Shirley Burras and husband Robert; grandchildren, Christian Webster, Tiffany Wichkoski, Caleb Webster, Jeffrey Evans, Jr., David Ashworth, Doyle Ashworth and Ernie Ashworth; 16 great-grandchildren; 5 Nephews and numerous other extended family members and friends. She is also survived by her Best Companion, Buddy. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 10 o’clock in the morning until 11 o’clock. Celebration service will begin at 11 o’clock in the morning at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church located at 5435 Bingle Road, Houston, Texas 77092. The family asks that everyone attending to please wear a facemask.
