Benito "Benny" Garcia's Obituary
Benito “Benny” Garcia, age 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 12, 2024. He was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico on September 23, 1959. At the age of 17, Benito moved to Houston, TX to start a new life to help his mother and family back home. He met the love of his life, Berta, and married her on August 22, 1982.
Benito was very proud of the welding career that he started on his own. He worked very hard to provide a good life for his family. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for his wife and children, especially his grandchildren. Amongst other things, he loved to talk about anything and everything. There was never a dull moment with him, because he always had something to say. Benito was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, and will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Berta Garcia, and five children, Daneb Perez, Yvonne Perez (Javier), Rosa Garcia (Matthew), Nancy Valadez (Roberto), and Allen Garcia (Karina); eight grandchildren, Abigail, Haide, Robert, Allison, Brielle, Arianna, Liam, and Lincoln; his mother, Rosalinda Juarez Garcia, siblings, Roberto Garcia, Juana Garcia, and Angel Garcia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Benito Garcia Sr., sister, Maria Garcia, and brother, Felix Garcia.
Benito’s graveside interment will be held at Garden Park Cemetery located at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe TX 77303 on August 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. There will be a funeral talk given Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall at 7:30 p.m.
