Alfarata Elaine Smith's Obituary
Alfarata Elaine Smith, 78, of Conroe passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Known by many as “Aunt Elaine”, she was a long time member of Grace Community Baptist Church in Dayton and will be sorely missed by the entire congregation. Formerly of Dayton, Elaine had lived in Conroe for the past year. She was born on February 14, 1939 in Godley, Texas to parents, Frank Ovell Quinn and Marie McCoy Quinn. Elaine is preceded in death by her husbands Melvin Fowler, David Clark and Buck Smith. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Frank Ovell Quinn and Marie Myrow; brother, Charles David Quinn and sister, Betty Holloway. She is survived by her children, Martha Masterson and Ray Helton, Arlene Brooks, Betty Reynolds and Sandy Reynolds, Joe Fowler and Rae Ann Fowler; Grandchildren, Jason Cranford, Amanda Smith, Gina Arnold, Crystal Smith, Misty Westcott, Stephanie Masterson, Teresa Miller, Heather Brooks, Ty Fowler and Peyton Fowler; brothers, William Quinn and Wes Myrow as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Grace Community Baptist Church in Dayton. A Celebration of Elaines life will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 11 AM at Grace Community Baptist Church in Dayton with Rev. Wayne Hardin officiating. She will be laid to rest following services in Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd. Texas.
