Edna was a joy to work with. She was so kind and always had a smile on her face. To fly with Edna made a long day short, a hard day easy, a boring day fun, and a bad trip good. Fly high Edna.

When you saw Edna's name on your crew list, you knew it would be an awesome trip! She was fun, positive, sweet, loving and kind, and was always very sincere. Edna never lost her cool and was pleasant to everyone....passengers, pilots, flight attendants, cleaners snd caterers...she treated everyone equally, just like we were all part of hrr family. She's been missed at Continental ever since she retired. She adored all of her family and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

As "Air Hostesses" for Continental Airlines in 1970, Edna and I just clicked! We buddy-bid for 12 years, in order to fly every trip together. She was wonderful with passengers and other crew members.
We shared a love for snow skiing. She was naturally athletic and before long we found ourselves on Continental's Ski Team.
When Continental filed for bankruptcy in 1983 we joined picket lines, walking loyally with pilots and mechanics, before returning to work in 1984.
While our buddy-bidding was curtailed, we remained close. Our friendship was never based on our airline job alone.
Edna was the best Flight Attendant I ever flew with! Flying with her made me a better F/A, as well. Knowing her, made me strive to be a better person.
I will miss her greatly...
