Mrs. Beall was the most wonderful first grade Sunday School teacher for my daughter, Maya. Even after moving on to other grade levels, Mrs. Beall remain so special to Maya. When she broke her elbow in second grade and needed to have surgery, Mrs. Beall came to our house to visit Maya, bringing her a little porcelain kitten gift (she knew Maya loved her kitties!) and signing her "get well" stuffed puppy. Maya was always so happy to see Mrs. Beall at church as she grew up and they always had hugs for one another. We kept in touch, even when distance separated them, and when Maya graduated from high school she asked to send her an announcement. Mrs. Beall responded with a very nice card and gift and Maya was so touched to read what she had written. She always asked about Maya, they really had a special friendship. Maya's grandmothers both lived far away as she grew up, but Mrs. Beall was surely one of her Tallowood grandmas! She was one of several very influential women that touched my daughter's life.
