He was not only a nephew but a friend I held close to my heart. Words are so hard to express during this time. I know he is surrounded by forever loved ones in a better place. Knowing all this and that I will see him again makes it easier. It won't be the same without Shannon but he is forever etched in my heart. Will miss those big bear hugs!

I am so saddened to hear of Shannon's passing. His personality matched his statute, and I know he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Cherish the memories you made throughout the years and find comfort in knowing he and Joe will be watching and protecting from above.

When I met Shannon, I knew then that Eloise met her match, even her mom said so. It was a match made in heaven and 28 years later, they were still going strong. He reminded me of a big teddy bear. I know he loved Eloise with all his heart. He will now be a guardian angel to protect her and his boys.
Eloisa, I am in such shocked to hear this news. My heart goes out to you & the boys. He was a wonderful person to everyone. I would be flying the friendly skies & I would know how our teams in Houston were doing by his posting. Then I would tell him keep me updated buddy cause I am flying, he would do it.
