I am so sorry for your loss. Joe was always such a great person. I will miss chatting with him about his family, his love for this country as a veteran, I enjoyed the stories of his parents' being veterans themselves. The stories of his travels with his friends and family, and yes, food!!! He always had something to share whether a story, counsel in life experiences, work, you name it, he'd give you the answer or guide you towards it. But my most fondest memory is his love of being a father. One year, I wished him Father's Day, just before that weekend. And I wished him a great day of being pampered and that he'd receive awesome gifts. He responded he enjoyed being able to give gifts to his son's on that day because if it wasn't for them, he would not be a father........that is so very true. If we didn't have children, we would not be able to celebrate Mother's Day, Father's Day or even Grandparent's Day. I am so very happy to know he was able to meet his Grandbabies, I bet this was one of the best gifts of all!!! May you rejoice in the Lord's Presence Joe, I will miss you dearly, but never forget the friendship and the lessons learned through you. Many blessings to his family and friends, may you be showered with all the strength and comfort during this time and always.
